Hi, I am Gola Burton. I grew up in Cave Spring GA, home to Georgia School for the Deaf. Both of my parents were educators at Georgia School for the Deaf. I have two wonderful children ages 6 and 9.Since graduating from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, I have had many different jobs in the field of deafness. I have been a vocational rehabilitation counselor, case manager at a residential facility, interpreter, as well as a teacher. I have been a teacher for 6 years. The last 3 years I have taught at Georgia School for the Deaf.
