Membership
Membership connects your expertise with others in a vast regional
and national professional organization. You will be represented
through your region by one of the seven elected Council members.

If you want to be a CAID member, please fill out the
membership form.
Full
people interested in supporting or promoting the mission of CAID.
Retired
people who have retired from the profession of serving those who
are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Retired members of CAID receive all
the benefits of individual membership.
Student
people enrolled, full time, in a professional preparation program
related
to deafness. Student members will receive all the benefits of
individual
membership.
Student Rate is $25.00.
International
Members from outside the USA may select the region
through which they wish to be represented.
Membership dues for International CAID members is $30.00.
Membership to CAID can also come through Approved State
Organizations. To be considered for membership, an organization must
have a governance document, an adopted mission statement, elected
representation, and a dues structure. All active members who are
teachers and support personnel (Aides, speech and language
specialists, interpreters, psychologists, etc.), of the
participating organizations will be counted as active members of
CAID. Each member of an approved organization will be represented by
a Council Member elected by their organization. The organization
shall contribute a percentage to CAID for each member of their
organization.
